What we cover

How we make a story
- Sourcing. Every article starts with primary research: scientific papers, public records, eyewitness accounts, museum collections, official statements. We name the sources we used wherever they belong inside the piece.
- Drafting. Drafts are produced with the help of AI tools as part of our workflow — faster than starting from a blank page, and it lets us cover more ground per week than a small team otherwise could.
- Editing. A human editor reviews every draft before publication. We tighten language, cut filler, verify quoted numbers, and add context where the draft skipped a beat.
- Images. Hero illustrations are AI-generated based on the factual content of the article. They are labeled as illustrations, not as photographs, in every piece that uses them.
- Corrections. When a reader catches something wrong, we fix it. Major corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected article with the date of the change.
